YouTube took down the livestream of a webinar honoring a Palestinian terrorist just as it was getting started on Wednesday, after organizers at San Francisco State State University had already been forced to shift platforms due to Zoom’s similar refusal to host the event. Hundreds gathered in La Jolla to show support for Israel in Gaza conflict Looking to show solidarity with Israeli troops amid a conflict with Palestinians, hundreds of people attended a rally in La Jolla the evening of May 13. Coordinated by Shield of David, a nonprofit organization dedicated to confronting anti-Semitism and teaching Jewish students how to counter acts of anti-Semitism, the event brought six speakers, including local politicians, rabbis and more, to the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center. ABC News Coverage – Plane with swastika spotted at Torrey Pines gliderport SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Shanna Ben-Moshe says the Torrey Pines Glider Port is one of her favorite places in San Diego. But on a visit last month, she saw something that ruined the trip. “I didn’t really know what to do because I was so shocked to see that in a place that I go to all the time,” Ben-Moshe said. Plane with swastika at Torrey Pines Gliderport draws objection A glider with a swastika on the tail was seen recently at the Torrey Pines Gliderport in La Jolla, causing serious concern for some. Brian Blacher told the La Jolla Light that a business partner’s daughter was at the gliderport, saw the plane and took a photo. He emailed it to the Light on Aug. 27.
