Swastika Model Glider Plane Being Flown in San Diego

Shield of David fights anti-semitism! This is a glider plane model that was seen in La Jolla, San Diego last weekend. The Nazi swastika is of course a hurtful symbol of pain, so a member of Shield of David questioned the owner of the plane. The owner explained that he collects historical planes, and this is one from WWII. However, after constructive discussion, the plane owner now realizes the pain and distress that the symbol causes to the Jewish community and promises to cover it up from here on out when flying it in public. Thank you to our Shield of David member for taking a stand in a positive manner and making change happen.
